Circulation

The Archway prints 2,500 copies weekly and is distributed on Fridays during the fall and spring semesters. In addition, approximately 400 parents and alumni receive The Archway at home through a subscription service.

With 20 issues per year, The Archway is read by faculty, staff, and the student body of Bryant University.


Advertising Policy

  1. The Archway staff reserves the right to refuse any advertising.
  2. Advertising designed to resemble news copy must carry the word “advertisement” across the top of the ad.
  3. Advertisements focusing strictly on the sale of alcohol will not be accepted.
  4. Advertisements for spring break vacation packages will not be accepted.
  5. Advertising placement and position requests will be honored when possible, but are not guaranteed.
  6. The Archway reserves the right to edit any advertising copy.
  7. Compensation for errors made by The Archway cannot exceed the cost of the advertisement.
  8. Advertiser is responsible for content of advertisements and agrees to indemnify The Archway against any legal issues based on advertising content.
  9. Advertising cancellations must be submitted in writing prior to the advertising deadline.


Payment Information

  • Advertisers will be billed for advertisements that are cancelled after the issue’s advertising deadline.
  • Advertisements for political candidates and businesses that are closing must be paid in full prior to the advertising deadline.
  • The Archway reserves the right to require pre-payment for any advertising.
  • All advertising must be paid for in cash, check, or money order (made payable to Bryant University).
  • Payment is due within 30 days of the ad run date. Payments received after that date will be subject to a 15% late fee.

     Campus rate applies to Bryant University offices and recognized student organizations only.

     Black plus one additional color.

Full Color……………………………………………….$325.00

Ten day advance notice is required.

Inserts…………………………………………………..$300 per issue

     Inserts must be counted, boxed, and delivered directly to printer. Ten day advance notice is required.


Classified Advertising Rates

For each increment of 10 words.

To submit a classified advertisement, please pick up a classified advertising agreement in The Archway office or contact the Advertising Manager at 232-6028.

Classified advertising and full payment must be submitted by 5 p.m. on the Monday prior to publication.

2.  Submitted artwork and camera ready advertisements should be in black and white for best reproduction.


Deadlines

All advertising (both display and classified) is due by: 5 p.m. on the Monday Advertising Deadline (see below for deadlines) Please note: this includes all copy, artwork, photos, final proofs, payment (if necessary), and signed advertising contracts. All full color advertisements and all newspaper inserts are due ten days prior to publication.
