The Archway production staff spends Wednesday night cooped up on the third floor of the Bryant Center in a small office. Sometimes we go a little crazy.
This week, The Archway staff had the crazy idea to compose an Archway haiku. We love the Archway; why wasn’t there already a poem about it?
This is our last issue of the semester, of the year, and in this office. Our office is being torn down and rebuilt in the Bryant Center renovation, so we’re being forced to say goodbye to our office space.
After many hours and failed haiku lines, we created a work of art. No, no – a masterpiece. It will go down in history as being the first poem composed to honor Bryant’s student newspaper – which is put out week after week for people everywhere to read.
So enjoy our haiku, and the Archway staff hopes you continue to enjoy our newspaper in the fall!
